    Amazing folklore show!
I didn’t expect much from yesterday’s evening but I was so positively surprised, it was amazing! Folklore show was brilliant and they even included guests in their games and dances, we had so much fun. Everyone is so positive and the food was also very good. Restaurant was in city center with traditional interior and the moderator was really nice and funny. Overall a great experience and I would be glad to visit the show again.

    Lovely Food and Welcome
Although we were a little late getting there we really enjoyed our night. The food was lovely and we enjoyed watching the music and dancing. In our late 20s we were a little younger than most of the people there. Also the restaurant is in a strange deserted underground shopping centre, this isn’t a complaint just a tip incase anyone thinks they are going the wrong way like we did!

    “We had a great time!”
What a fun evening! Dinner was really good and the service was friendly and helpful. The dancers, in their traditional costumes, were entertaining and got us all involved with dancing and playing traditional Slovenian games. My husband wasn’t too sure about going initially, but ended up having a great time dancing and playing “The hat game” with others. We’re so glad we went!

    “One big happy family!”

What a wonderful combination of food, fun, and new experiences. Our dish had buckwheat as the side dish and it was excellent. Everything exceeded our expectations. During dinner, the dancers showed off their traditional village garb (each wore clothing specific to their location in Slovenia). The host narrated and the dancers demonstrated.

The dancing numbers were so well executed and it was obvious these were true professionals. There were several dance numbers and then they demonstrated a hat-passing game and a musical chairs game. The audience was recruited to participate and the entire restaurant was roaring in laughter.

During the musical chair game, the participants provided such entertainment and, again, much laughter and cheering. We may have all come in separate groups but, by the time the evening advanced, we were one big happy family, cheering for the participants, laughing along with them, and offering condolences when they lost at the hat game or the chair game.

As the evening progressed, the lead dancer did choose someone to dance with him and try to follow his steps. Next came the magic broom which tapped people on the shoulder (which was a summons to join the conga line).

Lovely people, great food, fun times, and a chance to get an introduction to Slovenian country life. This is a must-do for visitors to Ljubljana.

    “Enjoyable evening”

As a family of 4 with teenage kids, this may have been a bit of a gamble. However, Dragana is passionate about her business and we had a great time. The dancers got everybody involved and there was a lot of laughter. The food was fine and the welcome drink (somekind of Slovenian aperitif) was so good we went and bought two bottles the next day.
If its your first visit, anywhere in Lubljana old town is easy to find. Many locals speak multiple languages and are happy to help. Parking isn’t too expensive either.

    Lovely enthusiastic young entertainers
The entertainment provided at dinner by the 8 – 9 individuals was entertaining. The young dancers were lively and seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. The games played that involved the spectators were variations of ones played around the world. Overall it was a fun way to spend the evening but one has to realize that what was shown is…

Fun way to end your visit
This is a fun restaurant with local dancing and live music. Be aware – it is VERY LOUD. If you have hearing aids (like my dad) it can be overwhelming. I loved the charm of the folk dancing and being involved in traditional “hat dance.” The food is good and you will feel included in this little bit of culture of Slovenia.

    Traditional Slovenian Evening Sept 16/2017
The evening was amazing, the folk dance, the singing and the audience participation all added to the wonderful meal. Because we stayed in the center of the city and my wife has mobility issues they provided us with to and from transportation. The evening was superb ! If you get a chance take it in. If we get back that way we’ll be there again ! definitely a ***** rating.
